SPECIALIST SCISSOR LIFT INSTALLATION

Chase Equipment have recently completed two scissor lifts for a new shopping centre in London. One lift is for disabled access from the Car Park. The lift and enclosure are manufactured from steel in-house and are designed to meet the hard usage of the environment.

The doors are automatic, featuring integrated electric motors below the floor. The lift complies with BS6440, 'powered lifting platforms for use by disabled persons', and BS EN 1570 safety requirements for lifting tables. The lift was designed to fit within an existing pit area.

In addition a scissor lift with 2000Kg capacity was installed to remove a transformer in event of failure. Complete with enclosure and interlocks, Chase Equipment also supplied and installed roller shutter door.

TAILORED RAMP AND DOCK LEVELLER INSTALLATION

Chase Equipment have recently installed two static ramps and dock levellers for a Worldwide Chemical Company. The shortened Titan 7 mobile yard ramps are fitted to dock levellers on modules complete with traffic lifts and pedestrian access stairs. The scheme is designed to accommodate heavy usage and quick turnaround to vehicles. The static ramps were shortened to give the minimum length of scheme possible (whilst giving a workable ramp gradient) due to turning circle constraints within the road.

UPGRADE AND REFURBISHMENT OF A CUSTOMER'S EXISTING EQUIPMENT

Chase Equipment has completed a refurbishment and upgrading for a major dairy company. This included an extension to an existing modular dock, refurbishing of a scissor lift and repairs to doors.

In addition door safety was improved with fitment of anti trap strips, new buffers and traffic lights.

ON THE BALL

A major contract with Wembley resulted in a laundry company needing to rethink their logistics situation. With their factory having no dedicated loading or unloading facility a Chase modular dock scheme offers the perfect solution. The scheme includes 2 dock levellers and a scissor lift catering for different sizes and types of vehicles. The goods can be pre-marshalled next to the levellers or lift and then safely transferred to ground level to be moved into the factory. The scheme is non-permanent and as such can be added to or removed (at the end of a lease for example).

WHITBREAD SLEEP EASY WITH CHASE

Although concrete docks were originally chosen to convert the selected 2,000 sq.metre site of Whitbread's Premier Travel Inn distribution centre, Chase Equipment's Modular Docking System proved a better and more flexible solution.

ONE-OFF 17t RAMP DELIVERED TO CUSTOMER

The specially designed one-off was needed to a tight deadline due to a new contract starting, the customer had also arranged for a training course in how to use the ramp with 30 people in attendance.

The ramp arrived at the customer on the morning of the training, as agreed, and the customer is extremely happy with our response, attention & service.

SCISSOR LIFT SOLUTION SOLVES PROBLEM FOR CUSTOMER

A Friday afternoon call from a potential customer with a real problem. Having designed a 1st floor showroom for his car dealership, he urgently needed a way of getting vehicles safely into the showroom! By the end of play, and several e-mails & phone calls later, an order for a scissor lift was placed.

On the agreed date the lift was commissioned & installed. The lift incorporated handrails and gates to fit in with the existing architectural hardware painted to match. The customer was delighted with the final product... Problem solved.

MODULAR DOCK INSTALLATION MOVED BY CHASE

A national distribution customer had been using a modular dock installed by Chase Equipment some 10 years ago. Due to consolidation of activities and the subsequent closure of the site, there was a need to dismantle and re-assemble the dock scheme at a new site, and incorporate some new features.

The Chase service team carried out this work, with minimum inconvenience to the customer and with the dock scheme now in operation at the new site, the customer can expect many more years of service.
